ceylor has been the Swiss trust brand for 100 years. ceylor's claim is to offer the right product of the highest quality for every need and at every stage of life. In 1916, the Swiss rubber goods manufacturer Lamprecht was commissioned by the Swiss government to produce condoms for the Swiss Army.

In 1929 Lamprecht launched brand condoms for private individuals for the first time. In 1950, the current brand ceylor was created. ceylor has been part of Doetsch Grether AG since the beginning of 2019.
