PR CAMPAIGN FOR ELECTROLUX WITH MARCO ODERMATT

Even ski superstars do their own washing machine – at least Marco Odermatt does. He not only values speed and precision on the slopes, but also in the laundry room, as the new campaign from Electrolux shows.
Three-time overall World Cup winner Marco Odermatt is on the road a lot during the ski racing season. There isn't much time for a private life. “When I arrive home, I suddenly find myself in a completely different scenario and try to leave the tension behind me. I find that I can do this best when I first take care of all my pending tasks. This also includes doing the laundry,” says the skier. To clear his mind as quickly as possible, Marco Odermatt relies on the innovative technologies from Electrolux: “It has to be very fast so that I have as much time as possible to myself and can recover well.” When asked whether he really does his own laundry, the professional skier replies with amusement: “I don't know who else would. I prefer to be cooked for than to do my laundry, that's more my thing (laughs).”

Marco Odermatt doesn't like things done halfway, always going full steam ahead, both as an athlete and in his private life. In the new Electrolux campaign, the Swiss ski star shows that he is also a true professional in front of the camera. He folds his freshly washed T-shirt in no time at all and ties his tie for the gala evening in the blink of an eye. With his sense of humor and relaxed nature, Marco Odermatt provided a few laughs during the filming of the campaign spots. And so some funny extra material was created, which was shown in the form of short videos and a making-of in the run-up to the advertising campaign.
